Finally it's over *w*
My Etwahl is done! Do you like it?
I made it in about 10 steps, I'll make a video-tutorial for watching it as soon as possible ~
It's not perfect but it's my first trial with polyurethane and I'm quite satisfied -^^-
IMPORTANT STEPS:
1. Make a paper pattern, copy it on the polyurethane compact sheet and cut.
2. Make "a sandwich" with another sheet more little for the largest part and paste each other with wood glue.
3/4. "Sandwich made!" Now, sanding in order to making the right shape.
5. Plaster and sanding again.
6. Apply a protective sheat (I use one in silicone) and colour it.
7. Make details in eva foam and apply two layer of wood glue over them in order to stick the gold colour (eva foam without wood glue usually absorb all the colour).
8. Colour details in gold and glue them on the instrument.
Apply the last details (strings and decorations on the sides) and finish it! ^_^/
For the strings I used a transparent thread usually used for drying clothes and I stretched and fixed it on the sides of the instrument with a piece of "wire thread".
For the decorations on the sides I colored polystyrene balls in red and glued them with two gold tassels.
